Symptoms
- Contour defect post trauma reconstruction

Surgery
- As a general anaesthetic day case your own fat is harvested by liposuction and the stem cells are concentrated. They are then injected into the area you wish to be reconstructed. The area will then slowly fill as the cells grow over 3 to 6 months.
After Care
- Keep the paper tapes clean and dry
- No showering for 48 hours
- When showering dry tapes with hair dryer
- If a large amount of fat is removed you will have to wear a binder for 3 weeks to reduce swelling
- No strenuous exercise for 3 weeks to allow stem cells to be incorporated in the body
- Over the counter pain relief of paracetamol and/or nurofen
