Symptoms

  • Large Heavy Breasts
  • Breasts that are felt to be too large for your body frame
  • Neck and or back pain requiring analgesia as a result of your large breasts
  • Bra Strap divot marks in shoulders
  • Skin irritation or infections in breast crease

Surgery

  • A breast reduction under general anaesthetic

After Care

  • An overnight stay after surgery
  • Leave Dressings on until you are seen in clinic
  • No showering for 48 hours
  • When starting to shower dry tapes afterwards with a hair dryer
  • Wear the provided support bra day and night for 6 weeks to help remould your breasts
  • No strenuous exercise for 6 weeks
  • No smoking to reduce wound healing problems
  • You may drive if you feel well enough to do an emergency stop
  • Scar care 3 weeks after surgery
