Blepharoplasty
Symptoms
- Excess skin of your eyelid which may hang over the eye
- Reduction of visual fields
- Compensation of hooded eyelids by raising forehead/brow
Surgery
- Removal of excess skin and or tissue as a general anaesthetic day case
After Care
- Leave Dressings on until you are seen in clinic
- No showering for 48 hours
- When starting to shower dry tapes afterwards with a hair dryer
- No strenuous exercise for 3 weeks
- No smoking to reduce wound healing problems
- Scar care 3 weeks after surgery
