Symptoms
- A harmless flesh coloured growth usually on the face or in front of an ear
Surgery
- Excision under general anaesthetic once the child is at least 1 years old
After Care
- Keep dressing intact for 10 days or until removal of sutures (if required)
- Do not shower for 48 hours
- No exercise for 48 hours as this will encourage bleeding
- Take simple over the counter pain relief like Paracetamol or Nurofen for 48 hours or more for any discomfort
- If the tapes get wet just dry them with a hairdryer
